GENERAL PROVISION OF HEALTH SERVICES
FOR THE BOROUGH.
(1) Public Health Officers of the Authority.
A list of the Staff is shown at the commencement of the Report,
page 4.
(2) Nursing in the Home.
Agreements with local nursing associations are in operation, the
fees payable being at the rate of is. 3d. per visit. (For number of cases
visited and total visits paid, see Table in Maternity and Child Welfare
Section of this Report.)
(3) Midwives.
The number of midwives practising in the area is 15.
No arrangements are made for subsidising midwives in the Borough,
but compensation is paid to midwives, when, on the advice of a Clinic
Medical Officer, the patient has been confined in an Institution.
(4) Poor Law Out Relief. The following information was furnished by the London County Council:—

(5) Laboratory Facilities.
