During the past ten years the milk adulteration in the Borough was as follows:—

The average milk adulteration for the whole of London was at the
rate of 2.4 per cent. and for the whole of England and Wales, 7.3 per
cent., in 1932.
Condensed Milks.
Twenty-four samples of condensed milk were examined, all of which
were satisfactory.
Preservatives.
There were seven contraventions of the Preservatives Regulations.
Other samples examined during the year were:—
1 Canned Fish.
1 Cooked Meat.
For the Public Health Department.
1 Effluent.
1 Water.
1 Sand.
