Of the samples of milk, 70 were procured from itinerant vendors on
Sundays and 142 from itinerant vendors on weekdays. Six samples
were adulterated. Legal proceedings taken against 2 vendors.
In connection with 2 samples an adjoining County Authority took
7 samples at a farm; all the samples were genuine. The farmer was
interviewed and one cow which gave poor quality milk was removed
from the herd.

Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act, 1928.
The premises registered under the above Act (Section 4—Storage of
Eggs) have been visited from time to time and on no occasion have
English eggs been seen at the premises. Notice of Registration was
conspicuously displayed.
