CO-OPERATION WITH THE EDUCATION AUTHORITY.
2,461 case sheets relating to the children who have reached the age
of 5 years were forwarded to the Education Department.
Maternity Wards, St. Andrew's Hospital.—74 mothers were confined
in the Council's Ward at St. Andrew's Hospital. The small number shows
that we have not enough mothers to fill a ward of 12 beds at the higher
assessment. The mothers who have been confined in the Maternity Block
were most appreciative of the kindness and attention they received.
