BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS.
681 swabbings from doubtful cases of Diphtheria were examined.
Of these 100 gave positive results (14.7 per cent).
4 blood specimens from doubtful cases of Enteric Fever were
examined, positive results being obtained in one case (25 per cent).
DIPHTHERIA ANTI-TOXIN.
16,000 units of Diphtheria anti-toxin were issued to medical practitioners
during the year.
