Isolation. Seven cases in Poplar, three in Bromley and two in Bow were removed to various hospitals, as follows

Errors of Diagnosis.
No cases removed to Metropolitan Asylums Board Hospitals were
certified to be not suffering from typhoid fever.
Deaths.
Four patients died from typhoid fever, out of 17 cases (3 Poplar,
and 1 Bow).
Bacteriological Examinations of Doubtful Cases.
Three specimens of blood from doubtful cases of typhoid fever were
forwarded to the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine. In one instance
(33.3 per cent.) the typhoid (Widal) reaction was obtained.
