PUERPERAL FEVER.*

Number of Cases.
Twenty-four cases of puerperal fever were notified :—10 Poplar,
8 Bromley, and 6 Bow.

Deaths.
Seven patients died—2 Poplar, 1 Bromley, and 4 Bow.
SMALL-POX.
Eleven cases of small-pox were notified and removed to M.A.B.
Hospitals during the year—5 Poplar, 6 Bromley, 0 Bow. Three patients
belonging to Bromley Sub-District died. One case included above was
certified, after removal, to be not suffering from small-pox, leaving 10
true cases.
VACCINATION.
Vaccination Return, 1919 and 1920.
The Vaccination Officer, Mr. Ryan, has kindly furnished me with
