1909, the landlord did not within period of 14 days sign and furnish to the
Council a true statement of particulars required by the sard notice, and the
said offence still continued after written notice from the Council dated 11th
December, 1909.)
Registration.
There are 1095 houses at present on the register. During the year
58 houses were newly registered.
Housing, Town Planning, etc., Act, 1909.
During the year the houses in Oliffe Street, Cubitt Town, were
inspected under the above Act and reported to be unfit for human
habitation. Notices to quit were subsequently served on all the lodgers
and the houses were eventually closed, since when two of them have been
demolished by the London County Council.
