The cost of labour remains about the same (even with another depot
opened) as it was during the year 1907. The wages are one man
manufacturing the fluid, paid 35s. per week, and three men distributing
at various arranged hours at the 5 depots (32s., 30s., and 30s. respectively).
*Supplied at a charge of 1d. per gallon to Works Department (for watering roads,
flushing gullies, sewer manholes and market places). All institutions are supplied
gratis.
