It was not found necessary to serve any notices under the Act.
Two block control schemes were carried out and the sewers in the
Borough were treated twice during the year.
In December the Council decided that, as from the 1st January,
1962, the charge for the service given by the Council under the
Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949 should be increased from
7s. 6d. to 10s. 0d. per man hour.
