Each of the three offices is staffed by a home help organiser, with assistants, and
clerical staff, and details of the service provided are given below:-

The case load for the Rushey Green Office is considered to be too large for convenient
administration and the provision of a fourth office to relieve the pressure
has been agreed in principle. Suitable premises are being sought for this purpose.
Alternative premises are also being sought for the Sydenham office which is badly
sited for the area it has to serve and is unsatisfactory.
The recruitment of sufficient home helps continues to be difficult at times and the
turn-over remains appreciable, the average for the three offices over the year being
over 20%.
At the end of the year arrangements were initiated for a series of talks to groups
of home helps on the work of the Health and other departments of the Council,
and the first of these talks is to be given in January, 1966.
