CERVICAL CYTOLOGY
Two diagnostic clinics are in operation in the borough, one in Amersham Road
Health Centre, S.E.14, and the second in the Central Lewisham Health Centre,
410, Lewisham High Street, S.E.13. In May, 1966 a third clinic will be opened at
Louise House, Dartmouth Road, S.E.23. The clinics are available to women on
individual application for appointment or when referred by family doctors. The
practitioner concerned is informed of the attendance and about all findings. All
women have a short gynaecological history taken, followed by pelvic examination
and cervical smear.
