Food warnings
In addition to legal proceedings authorised for contravention of the
Food and Drugs Act, 1938, etc., and Milk and Dairies Regulations, 1949,
warning letters were sent in respect of the following matters, where the
evidence was not sufficient to warrant legal proceedings being
instituted:—
Maggot in cake mixture.
Metal in bread.
Metal staple in mince pie.
Foreign matter in bread.
Fly in a wrapped and sliced loaf of bread.
Fly in bread.
Dirty milk bottle (2 cases).
