Public Health Officers of the Council.
In tabular form is shown below the names, qualifications,
service and duties of the members of the Public Health Staff.
Several changes took place during the year. Dr. J. G.
Wilson resigned his appointment as Assistant Medical Officer
on being appointed to a similar position under the Lancashire
County Council, and was succeeded by Dr. J. T. C. Roberts.
Dr. Mary Ruddy (part-time Infant Welfare Medical Officer),
was appointed as an Assistant Medical Officer of Health under
the Middlesex County Council, and was succeeded by Dr. Evelyn
Davies.
Mr. A. G. Thomas was appointed Sanitary Inspector in succession to Mr. H. King, who died in November, 1928, and Mr. S. Bradley was appointed Sanitary Inspector to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. W. S. Parsons.
