of 0-68 per 1000. The following are the figures for the

Cancer.—The mortality from Cancer continues to increase,
although only to a slight extent. The deaths during
1924 numbered 253, or 2 more than last year, while the percentage
to the total deaths is slightly lower : —

The Zymotic death-rate for the year (excluding diarrhoea
and enteritis) was 0.24 per 1000, compared with 0.25 for the
previous year.
