UNSOUND FOOD.
The following articles of food were surrendered by the
owners as unfit for human food and subsequently destroyed:—
17 barrels of Apples; 1 barrel Grapes; 49 boxes
Tomatoes; 3 boxes Dabs; 1 kit Escallops; 1 trunk
Codling; 12 pieces Skate; 4 trunks Haddocks; 1½ stone
Hake; 2 cases Herrings; 30 tins Salmon Trout; 1 box
Mackerel; 1 box Roes; 1 trunk Whiting.
SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACTS.
During the year 1913, 543 samples of food and drugs
were examined by the Public Analyst.
The following is a list of the articles purchased, with the
results of the analyses.
