DEATHS IN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS.
Within the Borough.—The deaths which occurred in
the Public Institutions in the Borough numbered 721, of which
number 426 were residents, the remainder having been brought
from other districts for treatment
The deaths were distributed as

21 ; others, 17.
Poor Law Institutions:—6 deaths.
Infectious Disease Hospitals: — Brook, 30; SouthEastern,
17 ; South-Western, 2 ; Grove, 2.
General Hospitals.—Charing Cross, 2 ; Children's Hospital,
Great Ormond Street, 1; Evelina Hospital for Children, 2.
Guy's, 14 ; London, 3 ; Middlesex, 4 ; Miller, 8; Royal Free, 2;
St. Bartholomew's, 3 ; St. George's, 2 ; St. Thomas's, 4 ; Seamen's,
Greenwich, 2 ; Westminster, 3 ; others, 28.
