Public Swimming Bath
I am indebted to the Scientific Adviser of the London County Council
for the following report on the results of Bacteriological Examinations of
the water from Kennineton Park and Biockwell Park Swimming Baths.
These samples were taken during the year 1962 and cover the summer ana winter seasons.

NATIONAL ASSISTANCE ACT 1948
Section 50-Burials
Under Section 50 of the National Assistance Act 19*8, the Lambeth
Borough Council is required to arrange for the burial or cremation of any
person who has died or been found dead in its area if in such cases it
appears to the Council that no suitable arrangements for the disposal of the
body have been or are being made.
During the year 44 funerals were arranged involving 3 1 males and 13
females.
The amount paid to funeral contractors was £505. Is. Od. The sum
of £416. 4s. 3d. was recovered by way of grants, insurance policies and
money found.
The actual cost to the Council was therefore £91. 16s. 9d.
