The first was a boy of 14 years who had been on an exchange visit to
France and was taken ill just before he returned to this Country.
The second was a girl of 11 years who had spent September at a farm in
Southern Italy and upon her return on the 2nd October felt unwell.
Enquiries showed that water on the farm was obtained from a well which
was fairly close to a privy.
