INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD
Food Hygiene Regulations 1955 - 1957
The inspection of food premises was continued throughout
the year and it is gratifying that no major contravention of the
Regulations was reported.
Traders have continued to give their co-operation and where
infringements were found the work necessary was generally carried
out on the inspectors' request.
Food Premises
During the year under review, 2,059 inspections and revisits
were made to food premises in the Borough.
These inspections and revisits were made up as follows:-
