MATERNAL MORTALITY
The maternal mortality is expressed as the number of deaths
attributed to puerperal and post-abortive sepsis and other maternal
causes for each 1,000 births. There were eight deaths during the
year. 2.17 per 1000 live and still births. Last year there were
only two deaths.
