4 Registration Sub-Districts, 4 Parliamentary Divisions, and
12 Wards. The Parliamentary Divisions and Registration SubDistricts
have been adjusted so that they and the Wards are
co-terminus.
Population—estimated, 1947—223,670 (209,910).

and inland water, but exclusive of tidal water and foreshore.
