(b) Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, 1928.
During the year under review, 2,000 samples of food and drugs
have been procured for analysis. Of these, 798 were taken with
the formalities prescribed by the Act, while 1,202 were taken
informally. The formal samples taken included milk, separated
milk, butter, sausages, vinegar, lemonade powder and wine.
