Inspection of Refreshment and Coffee Stalls
Evening inspections of refreshment and coffee stalls were carried out by Public
Health Inspectors as found necessary. No complaints relative to such stalls were
received during the year, and the conditions found to exist at the time of the
Inspectors' visits were generally satisfactory.
Free Washing Facilities in Public Conveniences
The Council continued to provide free washing facilities in public conveniences
in order to encourage cleanliness amongst food handlers and, particularly, street
traders who have no convenient personal facilities.
Traders are becoming more aware of these facilities, the number of persons taking advantage of them being on the increase.
