The average attendances at Infant Welfare Centres = 33.
Many children and mothers who attend the clinics in
South Hammersmith have derived much benefit from the
Massage and Remedial Exercise clinic held twice weekly
at 48, Glenthorne Road.
During the year 94 cases received massage treatment,
the total number of treatments being 842.
Milk for Expectant Mothers and Children.—In June,
1940, the National Milk Scheme was introduced. Under
this scheme all expectant and nursing mothers and children
under five years of age can obtain one pint of milk per
day, either free or at the reduced price of 2d. per pint
according to the family income.
