It will be seen from the comparative figures given in the above
tables that there has been a very great increase in the amount of
work performed in the laboratory during the past year.
Blood Transfusion.
The Council continued to co-operate with the North London
Blood Supply Depot of the National Blood Transfusion Service, by
arranging Blood Donation Sessions at the Health Centre. Four
sessions were held during the year at which 317 donors gave blood,
as against two sessions held in 1949.
