Cancer:
There wore fewer deaths from cencer during the year than last
year, but owing to the changing nature of the population it is not
possible to comment on the significance of this.

Tuberculosis: The total number of new cases of tuberculosis, both pulmonary and non-pulmonary, entered in the Register in 1942 was 97. The age period details were as follows:-
