The water supply has been fully satisfactory throughout the year.
Certificates in accordance with Section 95 of the Public Health (London)
Act, 1936, that dwelling houses had a proper and sufficient water supply
were issued in respect of 191 new premises.
Clean Air Act, 1956

A station for measuring atmospheric pollution is set up in the Public Health Department building, and results and details are sent to the Fuel Research Station. Attached is a summary of readings during the year.
