The country of origin was of interest, in that no less than 30% came from
Northern or Southern Ireland, the majority from the latter. Comparatively
few, two cases, came from Scotland. The great majority were Londoners
or from the counties surrounding London. A large number of these cases
have moved on to other areas of England since their diagnosis, as they are
men with few local ties and wandering habits".
Mass Miniature Radiography
The Mass Miniature Radiography Unit paid visits to Deptford during
the year and I attach an analysis of the results of the survey which was
carried out at St. Paul's House, from 26th April to 2nd June; All Saint's
Hall, Hatcham, from 18th July to 22nd July, and St. George's Hall,
Brockley, from 26th July to 2nd August, 1955.
