The adulteration in the Borough for the past 10 years was as follows :—

The number of samples examined was at the rate of
6.65 per 1000 of the population, as compared with 9.97
per 1000 for the London Boroughs in 1931, and 3.41 per
1000 for the whole of England and Wales.
The number of samples of milk examined was 332, of
which 21 samples, or 6:4 per cent. were found to be
adulterated.

found to be satisfactory.
