PUERPERAL FEVER AND PUERPERAL
PYREXIA.
Eight cases of Puerperal Fever were reported during
the year. One of the patients was also suffering from
Smallpox and was treated in the Joyce Green Hospital,
2 in Bethnal Green Hospital, and the remaining 5 cases
in the London Hospital. There were 3 deaths from
the disease.
Fifteen cases were notified as Puerperal Pyrexia.
Two of the patients were treated at home; the others
at the following Hospitals:—London (3), Mothers. (3),
