Slum Clearance.
During the year, six small areas (Barmore Street Areas Nos. 1-6)
■n Winstanley Road Scheme XII—Part I, and one area in the York
^°ad Area (Stage I) (Part I), were represented for slum clearance, and
were declared as clearance areas by the Council. A total of 211 houses
ere inspected, and 100 were represented as unfit.
Inspections made during 1963 totalled 507.
