Male. The following table shows the number of male out-workers' premises registered in the Borough, together with the trades and the number of persons employed:—

Eight new male outworkers' premises (not previously
registered) were registered during the year, and 5 were removed
from the register.
There were 93 inspections made of male outworkers' premises
during 1932, and it was found necessary to serve notices under the
Public Health (London) Act, 1891, in 9 cases to remedy sanitary
defects found on inspection, viz.:—Cleansing, 6; defective roof, 2;
defective ashbin, 1. Four statutory notices were also served and
complied with.
No case of infectious disease was notified during 1932 from
premises occupied by male outworkers.
