FOOD & DRUGS ACT. 1938-1950
Examination of Samples of Food & Drugs
During the year 1950, one thousand articles of food and drugs
were purchased by the Council's Sampling Officer and submitted to the
Public Analyst for chemical analysis under the above.
Of these 44 or 4.4 per cent, (including 4 samples of milk
referred to on page 41) were adversely reported upon, and in one case legal
proceedings were instituted as followss-
