INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
Milk. Samples taken numbered 608 and of these 7 or 1.1 per cent
were found to be adulterated.
Food and Drugs, Act. During the year 1,000 samples of food and
drugs were submitted to the Public Analyst and 39 or 3.9 % were
reported adulterated. The following are the comments of the Public
Analyst on these adulterated samples (it is regretted that it is not
possible to publish his complete report).

saccharin - fined £50 & 5 guineas costs.
