CANCER OF THE LUNG AND BRONCHUS
Thirty-six deaths (Males 31 and Females 5) from this cause were recorded as compared with twenty-eight (Males 22 and Females 6) in 1958. The following table briefly gives details of the deaths of Chelsea residents during the years 1950 to 1959 (inclusive):-

Over the period shown above 80.3% of the deaths were in
respect of males, whilst 19.7% concerned females, i.e. 4 Males
to 1 Female.
