Notifications and deaths from Pulmonary Tuberculosis, with the Incidence and Death Rates for the previous five years, are recorded below:—

Deaths from Non-pulmonary Tuberculosis, of which there
were 22 (equal to a rate of .21 per 1,000), included 7 Meningitis,
7 of Abdominal Tuberculosis, 9 Bones and Joints, and 1 Genitourinary.
The 45 (corrected) Notifications of Non-pulmonary Tuberculosis
included:
1 case of General or Miliary Tuberculosis.
16 cases of Tuberculosis of the Glands (Neck).
3 ,, ,, ,, Spine.
9 „ „ „ Joints.
7 „ „ ,, Abdomen.
6 „ „ ,, Brain (Meningitis).
3 „ „ ,, Other.
SUNLIGHT TREATMENT (Tuberculosis Section).
The Installation and method of procedure remain the same,
pending the building of more commodious premises. At the
close of 1926 there were 60 patients under treatment. During
the year 99 new cases were sent from the Dispensary. The
total treated during 1927 therefore amounted to 159. Of these.
103 were discharged, leaving 56 on the books at the end of
the year.
The 99 new cases comprised 6 children under 5 years
of age, 81 between 5 and 15 years, and 8 others over 15
years. These patients were further classified as follows : —

Pulmonary Tuberculosis 12
Pretubercular and Malnutrition 47
Other 7
