Of the total number of samples purchased, 75 were milk,
of which 8 were certified to be adulterated ; the remaining
adulterated samples were 2 of vinegar, 1 of turpentine, 1 of
fish paste and 1 of brawn.
It was only considered necessary to take legal proceedings
in respect of one of the 16 adulterated cases.
