Pre-Maternity Clinics.—These are held at 10 a.m., as
follows:—
Borough Hall, Royal Hill Tuesday.
Conduit House, 236, Trafalgar Road Wednesday.
105, Shooters Hill Road Friday.
Charlton Vale Mission Hall, Woolwich
Road Wednesday.
Each of these Centres is attended by a Medical Officer
together with a Health Visitor in charge, and a clerk, either a
lady working voluntarily, or a member of the staff.
It will be recollected that owing to the congestion at the
Conduit House Clinic, sanction was given by the Ministry of
Health to hold an additional Centre at Charlton. This Centre,
which is held at the Charlton Vale Mission Hall in Woolwich
Road, was opened on the 10th March, 1926.
The attendances for the year were as follows:—
Borough Hall 606
Conduit House 582
Shooters Hill Road 565
Charlton Vale 111
1,864
This figure of 1,864 compares favourably with last
year's total of 2,057, having regard to the smaller number of
Births registered during the year.
The following talbles show (a) the number of visits made
by the Health Visitors during the year in connection with Births
and cases of Infectious Diseases, and (b) number of Infant
Consultations and Pre-Maternity Clinics attended.

Health Visitors' Visits, &c., 1926.
