Procedure under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, etc.
The following are the principal legal provisions relating
to the composition and description of food and drugs (apart from
provisions to poisons and other special drugs) in force on the
1st January, 1927:—
(a) The Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, 1875 to 1907, viz.:—
Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1875;
Sale of Food and Drugs (Amendment) Act, 1879;
Margarine Act, 1887;
