Locally the Death Rate varied from 5.45 in Kidbrooke,
8.89 in Charlton, 10.82 in East Greenwich, 12.24 in West
Greenwich, up to 14.22 in St. Nicholas, Deptford.
Of the total number of deaths, 15 under five years of age
were of illegitimate birth, 14 of whom were under one year of
age.
