VITAL AND MORTAL STATISTICS, 1926.
POPULATION.
The population of the Borough estimated to the middle of the
year 1926 is 104,050, and it is upon this figure that the statistics
generally in this Report are based. The Registrar-General's
estimate, excluding non-civilians is 104,300 for Birth Rate and
103,300 for Death Rate).

The following is the distribution of the population throughout the Borough:—
