Breech Cases.—Number delivered as Breeches 10, of whom
only 2 were undiagnosed at term. In the others version failed,
premature labour supervened, etc.
Results—(a) Mother—good ; (6) Infant—still-birth 1
(Hydro-cephalus), neo-natal deaths 2.
Caesarian Section.—1 Result good.
Craniotomy.—Result. Mother—satisfactory (at the request of
mother, case recommended for Caesarian Section).
The total number of patients attending the Ante-Natal Clinics
during 1927 was:—

I he numbers show a decrease of 68 patients as compared
with 1926.
In addition to the Ante-natal work carried out under the
Maternity and Child Welfare Scheme, a considerable amount of
visiting and reporting of cases is done for the Obstetric and
Gynaecological Departments of the larger Hospitals in connection
with Battersea patients attending these Institutions.

Ante-Natal (V,D.) Clinic.
This Special treatment clinic was established in connection with
the Ante-natal Out-patient Department at the Borough Maternity
Hospital at the end of 1921. The Clinic is fully equipped with all
modern requisites for diagnosis and treatment and is directed by
Dr. A. C. Roxburgh, the Consultant Medical Specialist. The work
carried out during 1927 is summarised in the table on page 30.
