SWIMMING BATH WATER
Four samples were taken during the year, and reports of examinations
are shown hereunder:—
30th May— First Class Swimming Bath.
Total number of micro-organisms at 37°C. = 5,600 per 1 cc.
Total number of micro-organisms at 22°C. = 9,800 per 1 cc.
Coliform group—Irregular Type 1, Human and Animal intestine
origin = 25 per 100 cc's.
C1. Welchii — Present in 10 cc's.
Streptococci — Absent from 100 cc's.
The bac:erial content of this water seems to be unduly high.
30th May—Second Class Swimming Bath.
Total number of micro-organisms at 37°C. = 4 per cc.
Total number of micro-organisms at 22°C. = 3 per cc.
Coliform group—Absent from 100 cc's.
C1. Welchii — Absent from 100 cc's.
Streptococci —Absent from 100 cc's.
2nd June—First Class Swimming Bath.
Total number of micro-organisms at 37°C. = 1 per cc.
Total number of micro-organisms at 22°C. = 0 per 1 cc.
Coliform group— Absent from 100 cc's.

Streptococci —Absent from 100 cc's.
