account for the failure in certain cases.
Very good results were obtained in cases of alopecia. Of
25 cases discharged during the year, 22 showed definite improvement
ment, and 9 were completely cured.
Five cases of dermatitis were discharged and all showed
improvement. Three of these cases, two of the seborrhoeic
type, were cured.
Nine cases of furunculosis were all improved.
A separate table shows the results of those patients who have
received treatment at Leysin under the Council's scheme for the
treatment of surgical tuberculosis.
