therefore only able to assist in providing nursing for expectant
and nursing mothers, children under five, and for certain cases of
infectious disease including Tuberculosis. It is, however,
interesting to note that the encouragement given to the Nursing
Associations by this Council has resulted in a considerable increase
in their activities and I think also in their efficiency.
