Summary of Nursing Arrangements, Hospitals and
other Institutions Available for the District.
In my Report last year I dealt fully with this section, and it is not
necessary to repeat the information again. I regret that I overlooked a
very useful organisation which was initiated some five or six years ago
by Mr. Councillor Aucutt. This is a Nursing Association on the Provident
principle for Brockley and Crofton Park. This Association covers
a wide area and is connected with Ranyard House. One of their nurses
is resident and there is a visiting sister who attends che monthly Committee
meetings. A great deal of excellent work is carried out by this
Association. Since its inception Mr. Councillor Aucutt has been
Chairman, and it is earnestly to be hoped that he may be at the helm,
fortified by his able co-workers, for very many years to come.
