Marriages.
There were 1,004 marriages in the Borough during the year, as
compared with an average of 949 in the ten years preceding.
The marriage rate for 1919 was equal to 8.7 per 1,000 of the
estimated population and has not been exceeded in any year for the
past ten years. The rate for 1918 was 7.9 per 1,000.
The marriages were celebrated in the following places : —

89 in other places of worship.
261 in the Superintendent Registrar's Office.
