The attention of the sanitary inspector was called by a butcher
to the carcase of a pig, which was examined and found to be tuberculous
and was destroyed at the Council's Depot.
The following quantities of foodstuffs were surrendered by the
owners, being unsound:—
6 cwt. 1 qr. 10J lbs. of meat.
14 „ 2 „ 20 „ offish.
1 „ 1 „ 8 „ of poultry.
8 tons 16 „ 1 24J „ of tinned foods.
1 „ 2 „ 1 ~ 9 „ of fruit.
Total. 11 tons 1 cwt. 0 qrs. 15 J lbs.
These foodstuffs were destroyed at the Council's Peckham Park
Road Depot.

„ 22 Exposing for sale 40 tins of unsound rabbit in jelly. Inspector Nash.Case transferred to Sessions and there dismissed. No costs.
„ 22 Exposing for sale 37 tins of unsound rabbit in jelly. Inspector Malins.Fined 5s., in respect of 1 tin. No costs.
Mar. 1 Exposing for sale 57 tins of unsound condensed milk. Inspector Nash.Pleaded guilty. Dismissed. £1 1s. costs.
„ 1 Depositing for the purpose of sale 41 tins of unsound condensed milk. Inspector Nash.Pleaded guilty. Dismissed, £1 1s. costs.
„ 1 Selling 98 tins of condensed milk to defendant in above two cases, knowing the same to unsound.Dismissed. Costs £5 5s. against Council.
„ 30 Depositing for the purpose of sale 62 tins of condensed milk, 4 tins of strawberry jam, and 3 tins of marmalade in an unsound condition. Inspector Farmer. (Two summonses. two defendants.)One case dismissed, the other withdrawn.
Sept. 14 Exposing for sale 7½lbs. of ox cheek in an unsound condition. Inspector Collins.Pleaded guilty. Dismissed. Costs £5 5s.
