Smoke-Prevention.
During the year 22 observations of smoke shafts were made. There Wore
no prosecutions.
Regulated Trades.
Off'ensive Trades.—There are two licensed premises for such trades in St.
Pancras, viz., a tripe-dresser's in Kentish Town Road, and a tallow-nielter's
in Tudor Place. 58 visits were paid to these premises, a number of these
being spccial night observations of the tallow-melting premises, made in
consequencc ot a complaint made to the Council under Sec. 21 of the Public
Health (London) Act, 1891.
Constructional Drain Work.
The construction of, and repairs to, house drains are supervised by the
sanitary inspectors.
